Q 1: What is a Hotel?
ANS: A Hotel is an commercial establishment where accommodation, meals and other services are provided to the Guests paying to the Hotel. It is mainly for specific Travelers and Tourists. A Hotel creates a home away from home by providing quality services to the Guests and generates income in return.



Q 2: What are Guest Houses?
ANS: Guest Houses are similar to Hotel in some aspects but are inexpensive when compared to a Hotel. A Guest House has a limited staff presence. We can say that a Guest House is more like an Hostel providing a bed and breakfast. Guest Houses are usually cheaper than a Hotel and provides Lodging.

Q 3: What are Motels?
ANS: A Motel is similar to a Hotel in terms of providing services like a Bed for sleeping, meals and other services like a washroom and toilet, cleaning etc. The main feature of a Motel is that it is mainly for Motorists who travel from one place to another and cover large distances. In addition to providing Hotel like services a Motel also provides garage and a mechanic station for motors like various Cars, Bikes and Trucks. They fix the vehicles and add gas in them, clean them and other such facilities are provided along with the accommodation and meals. Motels are situated along highways and have an opened parking area for the vehicles.

ANS: A Houseboat is a boat that is specifically designed for providing accommodation as a human dwelling. Houseboats can either be stationary or can be moved either mechanically or automatically using motors. People live on these Houseboats and enjoy facilities like food and beverages, utilities can be transferred to the Houseboats from land. Some Houseboats are small and some are large. There are Houseboats that has proper sleeping facilities, bathing, meals, recreation and much more!
Houseboats are also known as the type of Floatels which means floating hotels. Houseboats are also categorized as a very enjoying recreation from people of all ages.

ANS: A club is an association dedicated to two or more people sharing common interests and acts as a recreation activity where the group of people share common thoughts or do common activities. ANS: Sanatorium provides medical facility to those people who are suffering from long term chronic illness. You can say it is a kind of health resort to those people where they get healthy environment and medical treatments. It is a special type of hospital for therapy and also known as sickroom.

ANS: A Restaurant is a place where people can come to eat food and drink beverages in exchange of money. Food is cooked on the Restaurant premises by the kitchen staff and food is typically served by a waiter or there is self service. Nowadays restaurants also deliver food to customer's destination.

Q 9: What is a Bar or Pub?
ANS: A Bar is an establishment that serves alcoholic beverages like wine, beer,  liquor, cocktail etc. and also non - alcoholic beverages like soft drinks with snacks and other meals. ANS: Banquet Hall is a large building where people have feasts or large meals together having starters, main courses, desserts and alcoholic or non alcoholic beverages. These halls are usually booked for large gathering events like ceremonies, wedding parties, birthday parties and so on. Many charity events are also organized in these Banquets for benefits and also for honoring some person with speeches. Meals served and arrangements are mostly lavish.
